Front brake noise/roar

Front brake noise/roar
I have this roaring noise that was coming from the front end and thought it was the hub bearing. Replaced the hub bearing, turned the rotors and installed new pads. I was thinking the noise was fixed but after a littloe driving the noise/roar returned. The noise seems to go away with brake application and it doesn't always make the roaring noise. It seems to happen more at highway speeds and if I hit the brakes it will go away while the brakes are on, once I let off it returns.
Everything being new, rotors turned and not warped, new pads and new hub bearing I have run out of parts to change. Could this be a pad sticking and just shuttering on the brake pad slider? Is there a lube requirement for the sliders? I cleaned everything and it seems nothing is broken or worn. Last month I had the alignment checked and replaced the front shocks.
If the noise was constant I am sure it would be easier to find but it is driving me nuts. Only other thing I noticed that needs to be fixed is the 4X4 switch because when I needed the 4 wheel drive it would not lock the front axle. Switch is ordered and soon as it comes in I will install it.
Help!?!
