The power control switches were all the same from 94-2002 for 25/3500s. If you have the power connector in the door the Kool Vues plug right in.

Make sure you guys route the wiring thru the mirror arms or you will get a pinched wire. There is a channel for the wires. Mine weren't in the channels when I got them from Kool-vue.

Kool vue's are definitely worht the extra $80.

Ok on my 95 between the door panel and the metal I have 2 plugs one black 8 prong, one gray 4 prong with 3 wires yellow, yellow with red strip and one blue with white strip. I will have to come up with a switch but where does it plug. I could not see to good I just loosen the top of the door panel. I am beginning to think it might be my best bet to just go with the manuel mirrors and live with it.

nkennedy, do you have the Kool vue manual flipup mirrors? The price at fenderworld mike gave me was 241.00 for the mirrors and the plates to go behind them.

I have the stock ones. I didn't see the kool-vue mirrors when I bought mine from E-bay. I don't really mind the manuales. I only haul my fifth wheel about 12 times a year, and it don't get that cold here to need the heated part. I just get the wife or son to adjust the passenger side for me. Love the mirrors for towing though. Kind of thought Dodge should've put them on from the factory.

I don't mind the manual mirriors either as long as they will stay in place. That's the problem now I have a set of stainless towing mirrors from camping world that fit were the small black ones was but they been on since 95 and the force from the wind makes them creep back. I usely pull 5 to 10k a year and I am tired of fooling with them. I don't know if I want to go digging around in junk yards just to have the power and if you end up having to cut the plug off and splice wires you void the warrenty.

I have the manual mirrors and don't have any issues with them moving or vibrating. If you have or get stock wiring harness you should not have to cut any wires. The only problems (small complaint) I have with the manuals is condensation in the mornings.

The mirror power connector is at the front of the panel up by the corner. The power window/door lock wiring is down by where the window motor would be. If you have any wiring at all in there you probably got the mirror power wiring. The Kool -vue plugs are correct for the year model you order for.

Flip up mirrors-dsc02726.jpg This is the connector location with the panel removed.Flip up mirrors-dsc02732.jpg The new mirror. You can see the pass thru hole for the wiring in the seal. Flip up mirrors-dsc02733.jpg Ive removed the seal so you can see the conduit chanel for the harness.Flip up mirrors-dsc02735.jpg This is with the harness in place.Flip up mirrors-dsc02737.jpg You can see the heavy bracket required for the mounting of the mirror. The new mirrors come with an insert that gives the part numbers required for the factory brackets. I already had them because I was just upgrading to power and heat. Also by doing so I have eliminated the possibility of frost for the rest of the year. I bone yarded the switch and the heater control panel for 30 bucks. The heater control was the wrong type as it was an earlier year but I just used the faceplate with the button and swapped over the circuit board to mine and it worked great. Sorry no pics of that part as the camera needed charging.

You have got the same plugs I have on my 95. I do not have factory power mirrors but the plugs are behind the door panel. I was wondering the same thing about the plugs. I was going to order some pertty soon. There is a post on the TDR about this but I can't remember were it was. The way he talked you had to cut the plug off the mirror and splice the wires but you will lose the warreny on the mirrors. I have about decided to go with the manuel mirrors. Some one may know a way to fix them though.
