I really feel for you guys on flat rate with the economy the way it is. I was a tech for 10 years and got out 2 years ago next week to go work for New York City Transit (subways). I took a little cut in gross pay but it almost balances out after health insurance and a 1/2 pay pension after 25 years was the icing on the cake. Best of luck to all of you from a former flat rate tech!
