Duner is correct. From the 2nd gens, the fenders were plastic rather than fiberglass. Dodge sells them. I don't know about the 03

$300 - $400 used was what my neighbor was quoted. He found a used one in Tenn by doing a junk yard search. Had it painted and installed. Don't know what he paid doing it that way, but I expect he saved a little bit by finding it himself.

That was on a 99

Dang!! $900 I'm basically speechless. Think I'll quit sliding over the edge of the bed and bracing my hand on the fender.

For about the same money, you can find a COMPLETE take-off bed at utility bed dealers that will have 2 wheel boxes, the bed. tailgate, etc. If you're fortunate, it might even be the same color.

I realize this one is the wrong year, it's just an example of what you might find.

Don't know about quality, since have never seen or used any of their products, but www.arrowcraft.com sells them for their dually conversions.

See the fender sets are on sale right now, too. Click on "specials".

I have a good left side rear fender take off in white for 300 if that helps anyone. I've been saving it for back up parts but can ship it out.
I paid 1200 for a perfect dually bed and another 900 to paint, clear coat and under coat it my color. not cheap!

Yup, but if you figure the wheel boxes (unpainted) run about $900 each, the tailgate (unpainted) is around $400-500, the rest of the bed would probably be 3 times that.........it doesn't look like such a bad deal.

Most times you can find a buyer for just the tailgate (those 5er & GN guys who forget to drop the tailgate before hooking or unhooking ) and recover some funds.
