Dual piston calipers for 2nd gen?
Anyone tried looking into whether front calipers with twin pistons from the later models will fit the older trucks? Im assuming this would need to be done along with 17" wheels and different rotors.
Braking power on this truck isnt so good. the chevy one-ton wheel cyls are on my list, but most of the braking power is from the front so Id want to start there

My 2001 has dual piston front calipers and had 16" wheels before I put my H2s on, but I dont know if your spindle will accept the caliper holders for my truck. Mine also has "slip on" rotors vs your press ons.
I would think it would be a possible upgrade for you, but may be a lot of $$$$ for all the parts.
