Does this trans line fitting need an o-ring? (Pic)

Up front, between the radiator and the engine oil pan.



Isn't this trans line fitting supposed to have an o-ring?

It's leaking like crazy.

I'm assuming that hose goes to the cooler up front.
Mine came stock with hose clamps on both ends, never leaked a drop.

Yes, There is supposed to be an o-ring in there. I replaced that line with a high pressure hydro. line with clamps. Those hoses are expensive, and the only way to get them is to buy the whole line. That is what I was told. Ever since I replaced it with a new line and clamps, no more leaking.
