do grills cross over?

I cracked the grill on my 2000 2500. I have found way cheaper replacements for for 1500 and I am wondering if all these grills are the same. They all look the same but mount or something might be different. Anyone know? or have a good source?

As I found they are all the same (Chrome grill)...The sport grill is the only one that is a bit different and require drilling new holes in the hood...But that is more for the old 2nd gen trucks..

Chrome, they are the same. BUT, if you have found a used grille? Make sure it's already been removed before you say you found one.
I won't even bother with the attempting to remove a used grille any more.

Got to have a least one that breaks out, of the plastic...

Had to restore my sport with fibreglass where the stud cracked the plastic..Was going to order one from US...But the shipping was a killer...And I think Dodge wanted something like $400..

RED you need to come up here into the rust belt for a real challenge

You have it too easy down there i bet you don't use the "blue tip wrench" even half the amount needed around here to dismantle a truck.

Another reason why i go to the other side of the country to buy my personal trucks and as a bonus i get to meet fellow members

Yea, but he misses the Tim Taylor satisfaction of torching the frame section out when you just have to remove the trans........

Quite a satisfying moment if you ask me.........

Heck NO! I'd hate to cut something of value and ruin it. It's not like I'm taking apart Fords ya know.

Seriously, you are correct. For the most part we don't see the rust like other areas. But, back in the day when we parted out anything and everything? That torch stayed lit. I don't care how new an Escort was, if you needed an engine, It'd still be warm from the test run when you left with it. And you dare not touch anything dangling off of it for fear of the slag still being hot.

This hits on todays highlight. One of my guys was on the phone with one of my previous teardown guys (decided he could do it better on his own).
Anyway, after the call, I was told that Previous was bragging about how he could tear a Cummins Ram down in 4hrs. And just doesn't understand how it takes us two days.
Really........???

Lets see: We don't unbolt the cab, set it aside and say "there, engine, done".
AND...He has also vastly improved. He's now Four days and Four hours faster than he ever too one apart for me.
