clutch

well, my clutch master cylinder finally gave up......does any one have any suggestions as to the best method to bleed the replacement?

I thought they were sealed units?

I believe there is no way to open the end at the trans. I would think if you set it upright any air would rise to the reservoir...

so far the fluid is at the disconnect point on the mc,no air from there to the slave but i'm afraid when i connect the mc to the line i'll get a little air ,and there's no bleed valve

here's an update......i bought a new clutch MC from a gentleman on Ebay for 9.99 and 7.50 shipping.....i ordered it saturday and got it tuesday morning and the best part is it's made in the USA.
as soon as it stops raining i'll go outside and install it

I know what you mean re: the air in the line. Can you get a little fluid in the connection point so you don't push any air into it.

got it installed no problems, good solid clutch againfrom all I've heard about air in the line i was worried,but it was a piece of cake...i just made sure the reservoir was full and fluid was in the cyl.........
