How difficult is it to change the front headlight bulb on my 2002 cummins? Anything I need to know? Thanks!

It's pretty easy, just changed the headlights out on my 02' last week. If you just want to do the bulbs its a little bit tight, but its possible to twist the back of the bulb cap off then remove it. If you don't want to do it that way you can take the whole headlight assembly out by unscrewing the 3 bolts that hold it on with a 10mm socket.

It's not too bad. Just a few scratches on your wrist lol. IIRC, there's a big blue round holder that twists off, then the bulb should twist out of the socket. If I'm wrong, hopefully somebody will correct me!

Easier to pull the headlight out IMHO than stuff your hand and wrist to get in there. Maybe I just have big hands...

+1 to Chris's suggestion. It's just not worth the trouble to me to do the bulbs in the truck.

Be sure and wipe the bulb free of oil from your hand before your finished..or in my case...blood. I went in from behind and got a little scratched up.

Put on latex gloves that way you don't get anything on bulb, it'll last much longer that way
