Centering Steering Wheel

I have Skyjacker D25 springs & just installed the DT Track Bar last night. Now steering wheel is not centered. How do I center it?

Re:Centering Steering Wheel

Marky Mark,
It is very easy
On your steering linkage from the box you will notice a collar w/ 2 bolts on it. loosen the bolts just enough to rotate this collar. This will lengthen or shorten the arm depending on the direction. Start w/ a couple of rotations in the proper direction and go for a ride. Stop frequently (in a safe place ) and make corrections and adjustments. You will get it strait shortly. When satisfied, Make sure to tighten the two bolts back up and you are done.

Piece of cake

DD

Re:Centering Steering Wheel

If I remember correctly those two bolts have to face a certain direction so not to come in contact with another part. Just thought you might look if you just tighened and left them whichever way they were.

Re:Centering Steering Wheel

I must have put them the right way because I just got back from a 350 mile trip up to the mountains & all was good. No more clunking front end with the new track bar. I will take a look at it just to be safe. Thanks.
