Caliper replacements

The cummins i absolutley love. the sound the power everything.

however the truck and chassis i dont know. so far at 120 000 km my right front caliper blew up on my during a left turn. no brakes in a 3/4 ton pickup is not the funnest thing in the world. anways got the fronts covered under warranty. than the rears at about 125 000 decided to sieze up on me. got those covered under my warranty as well

anways just curious. anyone else have had any problems with the calipers on these trucks? is it common?

I had one start to stick on my 99. Tire shop found way more wear when getting new tires, replaced the set.

Just did my front brakes this morning

and you are 100 percent correct... 3/8 hex.. there are two of them on the 96 calipers, one on top and one on the bottom..

pretty sure hex on the calipers like they said. the craddle is inverted torx. which is weird cause the rear craddles are normal bolts
