A/C toggle switch
I read a couple of days ago about putting a toggle switch on one of the wires from the a/c controls cutting out the compressor. I can be going down the road and from time to time I will feel some air blowing out of the top vents at me?? (with everything off) What Is causing that?? Also, what color is the wire I need to put the interruptor in?? Thanks!!!!!

The A/C cycles to keep the air dry so windows don't fog and to keep the system oiled up so seals don't dry out.
Never the less I disabled the A/C on my trucks years ago, sort of ridiculous to be blowing cold air when it's below zero. It is good to run the A/C every once in while to keep the system lubed though, but that can come after the truck is warmed up good.
Wire to cut and put a switch in is the light green/white tracer behind the vent control.
