I recently got in my truck and started it and then when I went to turn the A/C on I realized it was only blowing air through the vents by the windshield regardless of what vents were selected. The A/C does blow cold when put in the A/C position, but will not come out the vents on the front of the dash......please help, I am burning up and have a long commute to work each day!

Have you changed the fuel filter lately?

9 times out of 10 the vacuum line near the firewall gets knocked off when changing the fuel filter.

X2 on the vacuum line. I knocked it loose changing the VP44 in my 98.5. Took me a couple weeks to figure it out. That was before i found DTR.

Thanks so much for the help, that fixed it. Yes, I was under the hood last weekend changing injectors, I must of knocked it loose and not even realized it. I do want to replace the female vacuum because it seems to be dry rotted, and idea what that part cost? Thanks again for all of ya'lls help!
