Bulbs?

Anyone know if there is such a thing as a 9004 or 9007 bulb that is 80/65, Ive seen 65/55/ and 65/45 and 100/80 but nuthin in between, an 80/65 would be nice.

I wish... I looked about 2 years ago for some 80/80's, and there were none to be found. 80/100, and 100/130 are all that's available.

The 100/130's were amazing in the euro-spec housings I put in my Audi, but ran SUPER hot... was going to fan-cool them, but they burned out in short order before I did...

Whatever you do, don't fall for the "hypersupermegaultraXenonKryptonmegawhite" bulb GARBAGE that's hyped, and all kinds of people buy and claim they work. Every test done with real equipment shows LESS light output.

People seem to think ohm's law doesn't apply with headlights...

I left the stock styled bulbs in...

I added 100W aircraft landing lights to the bottom of the front bumper. Boy do they light up the road! Sure puts those little headlights to shame...

Where you get your 80/100s and how long did they last before the brights burnt out? If only someone could come up with a 65/80 it would be perfect, if the 80/100 dont lasdt very long i wonder what if one put a resister of some kind on so the 80/100s would be a little less brite, say like a 65/80 would be, I dont think we need 80/100s but thats all there is. If the dims were like the brites are now and the brites were like about the 80 briteness i think thats all we would need.

Read someplace on some forum some one said he checked out some supossedly 80/100s but looking at the fine print on the box it said 65/55, said when he questioned it,they told him "yeah but there equivilent to 80/100s." Found another place for 9004 replacements=80/100s, Automod Atlanta, 770-457-9663,-$25.00 for a pair, ask for Earl.

To the top, 80/100's are also available in 9004 & 9007 flavors, in CLEAR, Hella bulbs, from Summit Racing.

I just ordered 2 80/100 9007's, and the Summit 9007 harness, to install in my non-sport housings. We'll see how everything works out, but I am dangerous on poorly painted Interstates at night in the rain right now... I was all over the **** place! Something needed to be done.

I tried 100/80 watt bulbs that had a blue coating on the bulb. They SUCK!!!!!! Don't waste your money.

I bought a wiring harness from suvlights.com or something like that, it contains relays for each headlight and looks like factory wiring. AWESOME!!! I use the factory bulbs and its very bright!!!

I even tried the 100/80 watt with the relay harness and they still were not as bright as the factory bulbs.

The relays are the ticket for brighter lights.
