Brakes help
My rear brakes seem to be doing all the work, they lock up pretty easy and the front won't.
Is there a proportioning valve that would help? I have changed quite a bit on my truck. Upgraded to GM rear cylinders, installed a hydroboost unit from a newer truck and got rid of the vacuum assist. Also installed a ford front axle which has dual piston calipers. I don't think I have RWAL anymore with the newer hydroboost, unless it's built in?
Basically I need more pressure to the front and less to the rear.
Ideas?

Do you have the front and rear lines crossed coming out of the hydroboost?
The brake line pressure should be equalized, til a proportioning valve or other variable, like a change in line size...

Im pretty sure the anti lock systems need a computer and separate valving unit to operate...
Give it another day, I'm sure some of the brake gurus will post.

I think your setup is about as custom as anyone here has ever dealt with. I would probably just put an adjustable proportioning valve in the rear line and tune until I had it where I wanted it.
I theorize the combination of bigger rear cylinders coupled with the dual piston fronts is what is making it brake funny.
Summit or Jegs have them cheap......

I noticed that the brake fluid master cylinder is not full of fluid and appears to be dark in color. Have you bled the fluid lately? If not, I thought it may be beneficial to bleed the fluid. It's possible you may have debris creating a blockage in the system.

Took one of my drums off today since I had the wheel off and the shoes are all cracked and some of the friction material even fell off in big chunks. The inside of the drum is all grooved too.
