Brake Calipers for an 02

Are the front brake calipers on a 2002, 2500 the same as on a 2003?
Will i need to change Calipers if I change to 2003 front brake rotors?

I'd think you'd need the new calipers, and maybe a bit more, the 03 has bigger brakes on a differnet axle.

I beleive you will also need the brackets from a 03 for the 03 calipers and of course the 03 rotors (which are larger). Search here on DTR. There has been several discussions about big brakes for 2nd gen trucks. In fact one of the threads I'm thinking of actually gives all of the part numbers needed to do a big brake conversion (to 3rd Gen brakes). But 17" wheels are required.

You can buy brake calipers loaded with pads AND the needed bracket from Car Quest, Napa and others.
