Blow By Cannister

Anyone know anything about a blow by cannister? What is, where is it and what's it for? Do I have one on my '97 2500 diesel 2wd? Thanks.

Sounds like you're talking about what is commonly called the "puke bottle" here, and is nothing more than a catch bottle attached to the crankcase vent. If so, then no--I don't believe any of the 12 valve trucks had it (my '92 certainly didn't). I'm pretty sure it's only the 24 valve trucks.
