Best place to run wires through firewall
Got a new apline cd player for the ram, requires a direct connection to the battery... wondering where is the best place to run the wires in... or if i have to.. drill a hole

If you have an auto transmission, there is an unused grommet where the clutch would go.
If you have a manual tranny, you can't use that hole, but there are plenty of grommets under there that wouldn't mind a small slice and a couple wires going through.

Look on the firewall just to the left of brake pedal about half way up. Large rubbber grommet. It can be pulled and a hole cut in it big enough for any wires or tubes you need to run. It pulls out from the engine side.
