My Silver Star bulbs are around three years old and do improve the light a bit.

However, the new lights got a huge double thumbs up from the wife, was very impressed and happy with the improvement on our 1996.
Used the harness from suv, got the lights off ebay. About 375 total for both new light assemblies and harness, but since we needed to replace a broken assembly anyway, we went ahead and did the conversion.
Thanks, that's what I was wanting to know, about the notches etc.
I am still considering doing the Sport swap also. Gotta' find a source for the headlights too.
DC is just absolutely OBSCENE with their prices for anything!

Ebay can get them for less than 200 to your door if you watch for deals.

Back on topic for the HID's. How's the light pattern in dodge housings, how is it without highbeams, and most importantly what kind of warranty do they have because I've heard a common problem with Ebay HID's is the ballasts burn out too quickly.

we dumped the silverstars for the phillips vision, and never looked back. The silverstars caused us nothing but trouble.

I put the silverstars in my streetbike, HUGE difference no problems. Put them in my truck barely any difference just whiter clearer light than stock. I have 4 100 watt KC's on the front if I really need to see anyway.

have been running silver stars for about 4 years, 1st set had a burn out in about 9months, replaced with another set and havent had another burn out yet (Knocks on wood). So i'm looking at three years. Not sure if the lights are brighter, but they are whiter.

this is interesting
