Batteries kicked the bucket, what a difference now!
I was stranded at the hockey rink last night because of the timely battery destruction. I bought 2 new Orbitals from NAPA. They are exactly like Optima Red Tops (which I wanted), only I couldn't find anybody around here that had 2 of the same so I had to settle with these... same specs, though. Anyway, I just put one in to get me home, because it was cold out. Just the one cranked twice as fast as the old 2 used to crank! They cost me $129 each, but they are worth it! So I am hoping that these will hold up for a while considering it's a plow truck.
But, my question is, how do I test my old batteries to see which, or both, is bad? Can you really trust the places like auto zone?

Good news: Swing them by my work and I will test them for you on my tester.
Bad news: We tried using the Orbitals at work because they were cheaper than the Optimas but they did not last anywhere near as long. If you can still return them, I would. I can get you a decent price on two red tops if you want.

Dang, Matt, You sure seem to be having your share of truck problems lately. Keep it up and we will have to start calling you "MurpyII". The original Murphy belongs to Haulin'.

Hey Ryan, Take a look here:https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...threadid=53882
There are quite a few of us!! If I had a bigger garage you could come up here. We would have to work on it outside right now.

I won't be able to make it either. However Ryan, It don't take that much to adjust the valves on these trucks. If you feel up to it, just come on up and I will help you. The only "problem" is I don't have a garage (yet).
