Badges or no badges?

I already de-badged my truck and repainted it. I found some really nice 6.7 era emblems and some others I havnt seen before on e-bay and was just wondering what y'all might think about them on the doors of my pickup? 3rd Gen center caps are on their way. Tell me which one you like more and if I should do it at all. Thanks.

Your truck looks great!

I think the badge on the left would look nice, the badge on the right... its got a little too much going on in my opinion!

I agree, it is a little busy for my taste but wanted to get a well rounded opinion. Thanks for the compliment. I have put alot of hard work into the truck. The only person to touch it other than me is Jeff Garmon for the timing otherwise it is all my creation. The truck is getting black Line-X in the bed over the rails and I was thinking about going with a tan color on the rockers to get back to the two tone look that I really love.

I think they both look great but personally I like the one on the right better. If it was me I would just grab some second gen badges though, just the simple Ram 2500 with the red lettering underneath, those are the best looking in my opinion.

Definitly a good lookin' rig though, basically what I want mine to look like only black .

I really want to set my truck apart from the rest. 2nd Gen badges would be too common for me. Not an option here so lets focus on what has been presented. I threw them away for a reason. A black truck with the same setup as mine will look sweet, then put that left emblem on there and it will look ten times better. The red and the chrome will set a black truck off so well. Just want to know what everyone thinks about them on a white truck.

I have been thinking about rebadging mine with the ones on the right, but I dont like the HO stuff....
I wonder if they have them without the HO.
That is the only thing that is stopping me from getting them...

It's too bad you threw the originals away, I need one. The 500 in my "5500" came off somewhere in Canada.

I think I need to make custom badges, something like "RAM X500" gold plated or something, cool looking, with "500hp+CumminsTD" on the second line. I will only allow those with dyno sheets to buy those!..

Ditto, I always love the look on the guys faces when they pull up next to me, look at my fender, then look at me.

Clean, mean, and 100% debagdeded. No need to advertise perfection.

BTW, badges are just extra weight and drag.

I prefer good looking, fitting to the truck badges. Looks kind of incomplete without them to me. But the 3rd gen ones look too flashy to me.
Interesting how peoples' tastes are different.
