backspacing and 315's on 2nd gen rims

Im looking at some used 17" OEM alloys, I think theyre off a 97. Anyone know if later 2nd gen rims with 315's will cause issues on an early 2nd gen with a levelling kit? Im worried the backspacing might be different or allow the tires to rub the control arms.
Id love to find a set of 18" rims so I can run realistic sidewall sizes but that takes more money than I have, plus good luck trying to get a weight rating on some of these aftermarket wheels

Wheels off a 97 should be the same as the wheels that came on the 95 truck. They are 16" not 17".

I have an 01 with a 2" leveling kit and the factory wheels which are 16's with 315's. They do rub a bit when I turn real sharp.

Where do they rub? Control arms or wheel well liner?

The seller just got back to me, the rims are off a 2003 ram. How would those compare to the stock 16" for backspacing? Any problems with fit otherwise?
Im checking out that kore levelling kit that was reviewed in the latest TDR issue.
