Auxillary switches

Hi guys just looking for some ideas. For an 01 2500 stick. We all know ford has their "upfitter switches" and they do not look all that bad in the dash. Do any of ya'll any pics or suggestions for an installation of switches similiar to that? Thanks in advance.

These are the ones I am using and they look decent. I took out my little cubby hole in the dash and put in an aluminum plate for the switch mounting. 6 will fit in the space. I took my little label maker and made labels for the switches(clear tape/white letters). I like the single led light so it is not too bright at night. These switches come in different color leds. I thought I bought all red ones but one turned out to be blue. The blue one is way bright at night, too bright(it literally lights up the pass side seat). It will get replaced with a red one. The reds are much less bright.

auxillary switches

Some years ago I had a shop make up a stainless sheet with ??? 12 holes in it for switches ( cost a fortune) then I made up a small stainless sheet with 6 holes in to mount on the shifter that is light and don't affect the shifting area.I used a strain relief connector 3/4" I think it tightens onto the shifter and only at about -40* does it get loose. The first one to be put on it was the exhaust brake switch I made it to be on or off none of this turning it off or on for the throttle control. Sorry don't remember which year you have but I brought a 1/2" and 3/4" myres hubs in beside the 4x4 shifter with seal tight flex they have O-rings to seal out water. Have one cct to provide power for the relays. Then go from there with power from fuses by the batteries for what you what to power/ lights. Or if you what to take some (signal) power from a cct that you want to add to, run this throught the relay ( coil) and power it throught the fuses by the batteries. The coil current is only about 0.150 amps. This shouldn't overload the trucks cct(circuit). If you like any of the ideas I shall provide more info.

Here's how I did mine:

Top is MAP disconnect, Middle does reverse light duty, and bottom is solenoid high idle. I used a piece of 1/2" gas pipe as a new shifter and to hide the wiring so all you see is the nice aluminum box.
