Anyone recommend a mfr. for aluminum front bumper?

I put a big ding in the front bumper this afternoon and replacing the OEM setup will be a few hundred dollars. So I was thinking why not go nuts and get something nice?
Can anyone think of a manufacturer that offers an aluminum bumper for this truck?

Member RowJ has a nice one on his truck, can't remember the manufacturer though.

Go nuts,

Denver Offroad offers one. Winch Ready Bumpers offers a steel one with less weight. www.winchready.com

That winch-ready one is nice but they dont list the weight... I think the denver offroad was like 170lb or so (?).
Im trying to stay low since I have soft-ride springs up front already.

Wow that one is no lightweight.. they say 250lbs or so.
I like the alien patrol one also but they dont even mention the material used (edit: looks like its steel) nevermind the weight specs.

Im getting really discouraged with the prices.. wonder if I should whack the dent out with a sledge and drift and just bondo / paint it. Maybe Ill get lucky and some other idiot will hit me so I can get more bodywork done for free
The driving up here is bad.

boondockbumpers
alien patrol
denver offroad
buckstop
aluminess
winch ready
throttle down kustoms
bodyguard
tough country
fabfours
ali-arc
ranch hand
trailready

This might be a good resource for anyone else looking to shop for bumpers online.

Careful with Alien Patrol. Lots of people paid and got nothing. I believe I saw on another forum where the Colorado Springs DA wants to hear from those who got bilked.

Check out this DTR thread: Alien Patrol Issues

I like those aluminess...I wish they had more pics of the 2nd gen front replacements.
And for the price, I dont think you can beat the bodyguard. They are steel, but to me they look like a combination of road armor meets ranch hand.

Give Backwoods a try, Evan has some new styles, and the price is right.

A number of the ones above are steel not aluminum.

Ali Arc or UTE.

The Ali-Arc with the rake on the bottom just looks mean and the whole bumper only weighs 80lbs.

I like the shiny aluminum and lightweight of the Aliarc, but half the weight means twice the cost... isn't that what they always say?

And they make only bumpers with the full grill guard as far as I can tell.
