I replaced the gasket on my 3rd brake light and still had the leak. I thought that might be it until I raised the carpet up a saw that it was coming from underneath the rubber sound pad below the dash.

I found mine and its as hard as plastic..lol It does come straight out of the cowl firewall about 1 inch...I will just replace it anyway to avoid future problems,since its so hard. It might even have a crack on the inside..but I'am sure someone else would like the photo..looks like I'am heading for the 3rd brake lamp,rear window, or/and left door weatherseal..lol

I stuck a small screwdriver in mine to be sure it was clear, but it could be stopped up at the inlet. I wonder what would happen if you hit it with a burst of low pressure air?
