Any dash covers very good vinyl/carpet?

I was just wondering if anybody knows of dash covers they have used that they are happy with. Only ones I know of are the coverking dash covers that Geno's sells. Any other dash covers that are better than these?.....

Also, I was surprised to hear that it's not a good idea to use any protection like armorall on these dashes.....i was just wondering about this because i recently put some Vinylex protectant on mine a month agao & then realized that there was a crack in the dash today.....i would have thought by 02' they would solved the crappy plastic problems in the dashes....

I have read that as well that many not all but many of the protectents actually make it worse. I thought I had escaped the cracked dash issue on my truck since it was already 9 years old and living outside 24/7/365 but alas it was not be. Last summer mine cracked. I am currently using one of the genos molded carpet mats. I personally despise dash mats but then again I have never had a cracked dash before and it is better than seeing and hearing it. The fit and finish of mine was good. I did enlarge the defrost vent holes to better match the vents. Other than that it stays were it supposed to and covers up my cracks. If you go that route I would suggest getting the black one. The grey one is light grey and does not match my grey interior which is not really a big deal but what it does do is reflect the dash image on the windshield which I could do without. I may very well take mine out and dye it black. If I were still using my truck as a daily driver I would spend the coin and get the replacement dash that genos sells.

BarryG, I have been looking into getting the carpet cover also. I will get the black one as you suggest.

I have one of each

A dashmat in my 98-
A coverking in my 02-
Both grey interiors. Both are the molded covers.
The dashmat covers the air bag door but not the bezel.
The coverking does not cover the air bag door but does cover the bezel.
Dashmat comes in approate colors &coverking dosent like BarryG stated.

I like the dashmat better, take your pick
