Alloy Rims

Just curious,

Will the alloy rims IDENTICAL to these

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...cat/all/page/1

Fit a 1996 dodge ram 2500? (IE mine) I found a SMOKIN DEAL.. on a set of four complete, and i have heard that some earlier models do not take the alloys that these trucks have... Does mine?

I would be carefull with those rims as I have had two crack on me and NOT from abuse. Take a look at the inside of bead seat area for cracks.

They will fit fine on the front. On the rear you will need to turn about a 1/4" off of the brake drum fins near the mouth of the drum.

I have a set now, that I got a "smokin" deal on, from a 2001, and they won't fit my 1999. My tire store tried to mount them, even with spacers, but could not get them to fit. I have rechecked my research now. It is my understanding that some grinding must be done on the steering knuckle and 1/8" needs to be turned off the widest part of the drums in order for them to fit.
I got my info from:

Desicion made,

I will pass on them, The guy that has them is mexican, has two on one truck, and two on another, only cause they fit the rear drums only.. Cracks? possibly the guy and his brother are import haulers.. best not get involved, made my desicion much easier, i dont want to grind, nor do i wanna worry...
