Alarm system

i just bought a 99 dodge ram 2500 lamramie and i was wondering where the original alrarm in the vehicle is? im trying to put in a new one w/ remote start and a turbo timer and several other options so i was wondering where the original factory alarm is? does anyone know where the alarm is located at?

the alarm is located in the central timer module underneath the steering column on the right side... www.the 12volt.com should be able to tell you what wires disarm it. other wise you'll have to find or buy a new one that does not have the alarm... i think also dealership will reprogram without it for a fee. don't know for sure though

is there anyway that i can just tap into it say for my door locks and all of that?
