ABS Controller; To Flash or not to Flash?
My ABS and brake light are on and ABS pump runs continually. OBD diagnostic for the ABS shows everything working properly and NO codes being thrown. The shop says it is the ABS controller gone bad. Can anyone tell me if its worth spending $100.00 to reflash the current controller in an attempt to solve the problem, or should I just bite the bullet and get a new controller?

Isn't a new controller like $600?
If so I'd try the flash if the dealer thinks it might do anything.
If you live near a big city you might want to get an opinion from a shop that specializes in brakes first.

Is it an OBDIII or OBDII that's reading the code? IIRC, a regular code reader might not capture ABS codes, only PCU and ECU codes. Unless it was a Dodge dealer or a shop that specializes or knows a lot about ABS it might not be the controller. Did you troubleshoot your wheel sensors?....
