ABS/Brake Light - No Brake Lights

I've read the posts regarding the ABS/Brake light issue. Sensor will be at parts house in the AM. Hopefully, that will resolve the dash lights. I have not read that this issue also causes loss of brake lights. Does it?

I replaced the brake light switch at the pedal already.

Vehicle has aftermarket remote start/alarm system. I fear that my problem may be here. The system no longer works, but the ABS/Brake issue as well as the brake light failure occurred longer after the failure of the remote start/alarm.

Thanks in advance for you help. I'll be glad to post any other specifics that might help with diagnosis.

I gotta ask first, have you checked all fuses, in the dash and under the hood? That was the problem with my brake lights on my 96, and it caused my ABS and dash brake light to come on. Apparently those dash lights come on for any kind of problem in the brake system, as well as other reasons.
