98 12v Auto Trans temp sensor
Hi all,
I have a 98 12v with an auto. I have installed a 3 gauge pillar with pyro, boost, and trans temp gauges. Everything is wired and plumbed and working correctly. The only thing left to do is find a suitable place for the trans temp sensor to go. I searched the different forums for information, and from what I read, the line going to the first heat exchanger is the best place to have it. What I can't find is, what type of line it is metal or rubber?, and also what type of fittings I will need to tap into it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had '04.5 2500 cummins that I also put the same gauges in and I bought the trans cooler line from Mass Diesel. I looked on their site, but couldn't find anything about the cooler lines. Maybe they don't make them anymore?
