97 Clock spring
I needed a new clock spring, Ordered one off the internet and the one I got that had 2 wiring connectors of 2 wires each for the cruise control. the clock spring on my truck had a single connector with 4 wires.
I thought maybe I ordered the wrong part so I called the local parts house and had them order me one, went in today and it was the same that I ordered any one have the same problem? I have a long trip coming up and I need to have my cruise working.

I replace mine about 6 years ago, but don't remember much about the wiring on it. I just followed the instructions in the Shop Manual and it came out perfect.

I got one from a wrecker for 40 bucks for my 98, as I recall it had a 4 pin plug as well as an airbag plug and the horn. the wrecker asked me a pile of questions about options on the truck including manufactured month, he said there was a pile of criteria for those clockspirngs. remember to run the centering procedure if it is used, or you risk hosing the new spring
