97' 2wd ball joints...threaded or pressed

Just picked up my new ball joints(Moog) and found that both the upper and lowers have to be pressed in. From what I have been reading I thought the uppers were threaded in and lowers were pressed in.
My truck is a 97' 2 wheel drive dually. Anyone else out there have any experience with the same truck?
And I should ask how easy it is to replace the ball joints with out removing the control arms from the truck? Thanks

Very easy if you pick up a ball joint press from harbor freight for $30 bucks. Well worth it. They can be use for u joints and other things so you will get your $$ worth.

Not difficult to do. Just follow the instructions in a Haynes, Chiltons, or factory manual. Press old one off, new ones on.

If I remember correctly, you will need a pickle fork also. KD
