2002 Steering stabalizer
Found the other day while my truck was on the rack with the straight pipe option being performed that it does not have a steering stabalizer. It has the bracket and mounting holes for it....but no stabalizer. So I figure I'll check for an aftermarket stabalizer....most everyone lists 98-01 and 03-up and 69-93, but 02' seems to be missing? What's the deal with that? Was 2002 designed so well that they figured it did not need one? So I guess this means I have to use some aftermarket brackets and such if I want a stabalizer?

2002 is the redheaded stepchild that no one will claim.
It is the year the 1500's changed body styles (and thusly axles) to the 3rd gen,
but the 2500's and 3500's stayed the 2nd gen.
Get the part for the 2001 and you'll be fine, as long as it is for a 2500 or 3500 which has beefier steering parts.
