1996 Ram cruise control
Guys
Cruise control worked fine when i put in the new pcm, but on a trip to falls city i lost the cruise first shot off in the morning, the little light comes on, but when i hit the set acceleration, it does not stay put, Loose wire somewhere? I have looked thru the search on the forums but found nothing havin to do with the set acceleration not working..
Tx

Check your vac. line under the driver's side battery. The line, 1/8 " I believe, have failed due to battery acid or other causes. This happened to me and gave the same results as you posted.

Same thing happened to me and it was the hard plastic line under the left battery where it hooks to the cruise servo, it had broke, I spliced it with some rubber vaccum hose.

Vacuum hose...
This is a very common fault with the cruise on this model. Check the plastic tubing and the rubber fitting too! I've had both fail now!
