Don't break the dash bezel and clips when you pull it apart. Pull straight back on the surround, then start digging for screws and clips for the instrument cluster.
Tilt the wheel down and remove the surround around the steering column, it makes it a bit easier and less bending of old plastic that may be getting brittle...
replace all the bulbs with new ones or you will be back in there again in a week or two....

also ensure after you pulled the gauge cluster out to replace all the bulbs that when you reinstall put some dialetric grease on the main port/plug and ENSURE.. its all the way seated and not partial. if its partial it may appear to work until you drive and vibration going and then the plug connection is seperated.

Thanks for all the tips, hope to get in there this weekend and replace all the bulbs so I don't have to do it again. Anyone know off the top of their head the bulb type?
