Yet Another P0341 Error

I have read allot about this error and replacing the sensor that causes it. In my case the only ill affect by the sensor failing is the tack goes to zero and I get an error code P0341. The engine seems to run fine. Never the less I want to replace the sensor and wanted to double check to make sure I am doing the correct one. Is this sensor by the starter or by the injector pump?

2001 24v

Specific error code is:
P0341
Crankshaft Position Sensor A
Bank1 CKT Range/Perf

My local dodge dealer looked it up and called it an ETC for my year. Cost is $60.60 which is consistent with other post here. (Actually just picked it up for wholesale price $48.48 )

I have figured out that it is not by the starter. There is a cover plate over the spot where it would be if it was there. So it must be by injector pump. Does any have a picture of the sensor by the injector pump?

On a 2001 it's the Camshaft, and not the Crankshaft sensor that you want - as you found out, the Crank doesn't exist on the 2001.

You would think the dealer would know that. He gave me the crank sensor. Went to another deal and got the correct cam sensor and got it in tonight. Major PITA with my fat hands.....but it is in and I cleared the code. I hope it does not come back.
