wont start
All,
I just changed my fuel filter. I took out the old one, cleaned out the filter chamber, filled it with fresh diesel, placed the new filter in housing, and screwed the cap down. The truck now will not start. What do I do next?

You should prime your fuel system. "Bump start" which is when you turn your key on to run lift pump but don't start truck. Repeat 2-3 times and see if it starts. You have air in the system and you have to get it out.
If it still doesn't start, loosen 2-3 injector fuel lines (going down to injectors) and try to start it. It should start and run rough for a bit. Once it starts shut it down and retighten lines and start it again and let it run for a bit. Check for leaks.

so I "bumped" the starter 3-4 times and tried to start it. Nothing. I then loosened 2 of the injector nozzles at the head and tried to start it. Nothing. I did see fuel being fed to these injectors though. The fuel pressure gauge reads above 10psi throughout the process. What's next?

It should start once you see fuel coming out of lines. You don't disconnect lines just slightly loosen them so the air comes out.
If you have helper start it for you as you watch it.
I think mine started on 3rd try when I did it, there was a lot of air in the lines. Once it starts it will run rough but it's ok, once it starts simply shut it down, tighten lines and restart. You should be good to go.
