Wix Filter Question
I just found some WIX oil filters. Part number is 57620XE, can these filters be used in place of the regular 51607 filter on an 01 with a 24v in it?
From what I remember they can be, the only difference is the 57620XE have a glass filter element and the 51607 have the regular paper element..??

Thats what I thought. Thanks Rebal. As I was walking past the garbage bin at the local Napa I seen 4 filter boxes layin at the top that where unopened.
2 of them where the 57620XE and the others crossed over to a ford filter (FL-820) if I remember right. I brought them back inside to see if they had made a mistake on throwing them away. They all looked at eachother behind the counter and after I talked to the manager he said "they are yours now".. No idea why someone threw them away but they all look in great shape. No water damage or anything.
Always pays to keep your eyes open I guess
