windshield washer bottle
How do I get this thing out??
Pulling out my radiator and having a tough time with this bottle
Radiator overflow bottle came right out- I know my manual says washer bottle pulls straight up and out - but its not budging- any special tools or technique been found to make this bottle come out?
thanks for any info

I use a long flat screwdriver. Slide it down from the top go about the center of the jug. Slightly pry the center of the jug away from the fan shroud while pulling up on the bottle. You might have to wiggle it a bit but it should come out after swearing at it a few times.

There is a bump on it that fits into a hole on the holder, a shot of wd-40 or silicone between the bottle and frame should help a little...

washer bottle
Thanks guys- I found a special tool for removing the washer bottle-3lb sledge and a piece of 2x4 around 10" long- line it up on bottom of bottle and a gentle bump and it popped right out
Getting it back in is not as easy as coming out- still trying to figure installing it- got bottom tab in and wrestling with the tops- seems there is not enough room to lift it due to top rad hose connection
New radiator went in nicely, new hoses were easy, and new thermostat went without a hitch as well- seems kinda funny that the most difficult thing for me is that washer bottle-note to dodge/ram- a handle or a molded grip on the back of that bottle would help a lot and not interfere with access to anything else on the truck
thanks again for the tips guys!
