I can't see why not. A pump is a pump as long as is rated for diesel and can move the volume of fuel that is required by the injection pump. The in tank pumps have low pressure (7-9psi at idle and close to 0psi at WOT) but high volume according to DC. So anything that can do better and be placed between tank and injection pump should work as well or better. my .02 cents

I read on another site you can get them at an International dealer, no questions asked!
truckntom73, that's an odd price, normally members are fixing other members up out of the goodness of their heart ...
There's a post that addresses an engine number 56561524, which you need to give Cummins, along with the part number. This is a 1999 manufacture date 250, Encore ISB 5.9 Cummins engine, which allegedly qualifies.
I purchased mine from a local dealer without any problem. I think the issue is when people are getting greedy and asking for several at a time ... be fortunate you're getting one at this price and move on!

$65.00 Lp
Will this pump for $65.00 work on my 99 with the 24 valve engine? If so would someone please give me the part description and contact info on ordering it?
Also, where is the best place to get myself a fuel pressure gage with good mounting instructions and exactly what to ask for. I haven't worked on this truck yet so I'm totally green so to speak.
My truck is a 99 with 24 valve two wheel drive totally stock.
Many Thanks!
Sonny
