just another quick question.. just because my lift pump is going out, doesnt necessarally mean my injectiion pump is out right? And if i replace my lift pump and the injection pump is out, will driving it around affect my new lift pump?

I would test the LP, and replace it first, if it fails the test. If the 0216 code comes back (it probley will) then do the IP. It won't hurt the new LP.

 

ok.. ill replace the lp.. any suggestion on what brand and/or make of lift pump to buy. I went in to the dodge dealership and they could only sell me the internal conversion kit for 500$. I hear that its the best way to go, but if there is a cheaper external LP that works just as good I'd rather ty it, but if know I'll have to go with that one..

Do a search on here for a FASS pump. there like $430 for a kit with out the filter, but does have a big line kit with it. It's way better that a intank pump. and alot EZ'er to install. Any of the venders on here can sell you one. I have got a couple from PDW. but they all sell them.
