Where to Buy Denso Starter Contacts?
Who stocks Denso starter contacts and or plungers? I would love to take advantage of Larry B.'s heavy duty alternative, but I have mine apart now and I need it tomorrow...Does NAPA sell just the contacts? I've bought them for cars at 2 different places but I don't think they service trucks. Thanks for any advice.

I have a local starter/alternator rebuild shop that I get mine at. If they are more than about 2.00 each then you probably paid too much. If you are in a bind then you can heat solder and build it up as much as possible and just file it back down.

I bought mine at a alternator/starter rebuild shop locally.the guy there said probably wouldnt help that was 40k ago I filed the plunger clean.Mine cost 10 bucks here and even if too much was less than a rebuild and I was back in service in under a hour.

Try that buildup idea. Pennys solder well and are fairly easy to file back to shape. I would order the ones from Larry B pronto. They offered to ship mine overnight when I paid for snail mail so long as I sent them the differance. The parts worked weel and they are huge.
