I pulled the D70 out of my 99 2500, auto last weekend and I wonder what I should ask for it. It is a stock D70, 3.54, open diff (no LS), drum brakes, with 103K on it, and has had Amsoil synthetic in it for 55K of that 103K. Never had any leaks or any other problem with it. Plan to let it go drum to drum, including parking brake cables.
Don't make no offers here. I ain't tryin to sell it right now, I'm just tryin' to figure out what I should ask for it.

Check the For Sale, and Wanted sections over at Pavementsucks.com.
They usually have a good handle on prices, and there's always a poor 1500 owner that wants a D70 under there.

I paid $275 if I remember right for mine down in Iowa, out of a 98 sport with 3.54's and a limited slip. A junkyard wants close to $800 around these parts.

 

they don't fetch much... especially w/ 3.54's...

I've got a limited slip D70 that's coming out soon... it's going on ebay w/ a $1 starting bid buyer picks up and whatever it goes for is whatever it goes for!
