...before you say track bar let me say this.
I have Luke's Links on the tie-rods and track bar. All are new or rebuilt.
I have new Moog balljoints.
I have new tires.
I have relatively new shocks and recently re-torqued them.
After making a 90 degree right turn, on the next 90 degree left turn it pops on the drivers side.
The only possibility I can think of is one of the control arm bolt sleeves slipping in the frame mount.

This sounds like the same problem I am having. I think mine is coming from the passenger side. It sound like someone is taking a 2x4 and smacking the floorboard. Mine only does it on left turns.
I layed under the truck this weekend and scoured the area where I thought the sound was coming from and found nothing. As loud as the sound is, I figured I would find some sign of wear.
I agree with you, it has to be a control arm bushing. Judging on the sound, it has to be my upper arm on the pass side where it mounts to the frame.
I will pull it apart as soon as I get a chance. Please keep me informed if you find an answer before I do.

Maybe if you lay on a creeper & have the little woman turn the steering wheel back & fourth you'll see where it's binding. Just make sure she's in a good mood & you havn't ticked her off lately.
