What speed should tc lockup?
I tried a search with no luck. My truck has been locking up between 30-35 mph once the truck is nice and warm. It used to lockup at around 45-50 mph it seemed. It really lugs now and the egt's really climb with any incline. Is this normal?

Just wondering if you guys are talking about it locking up in third or in forth gear. Mine absolutly will not lock up untill 45mph regardless of the situation. Even then I have to let off the throttle to "Force" it to shift into lockup or it will run up to well over 50mph till it locks up. It will also unlock at 45mph as if there were a switch controling it. It has been like this since I bought it with 3500miles on the truck and others I have driven are the same way. I wish it would lock up at 35-40mph. This drives me nuts about this tranny! It completly wastes the rpms where these engines make their power. I guess the time for the new ATS tranny is approaching. Sorry, just my chance to vent.

Bluedeviltorque,
Mine always locks up in 3rd gear. In the mornings, mine acts like yours does. I have to baby it a little at around 45-50 and then it locks up. After everything warms up, it locks in around 35.

Sorry, I was refering to 3rd gear lockup. Mine agrivates me in 4th too. 4th (od) deosn't kick in til 42 or so on mine also, and I have to pedal it to get it to do that. Also it would be nice if it would stay in 4th longer. All I have to do is accelerate slightly when around 45 and it downshifts.
