Bought at 110000, rebuilt front end (tie rod, track bar, ball joints, steering box - several, steering brace, installed gauges, solenoid contacts, pulled radiator for cleaning, brake pads, master cylinder, patched leaky brake hard line in driver frame rail, new brake flex lines, new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, installed AirDog, cleaned up rusty doors, replaced CKP, CMP, new bushings in leaky fuel return, installed 3rd VP @ 150K, lifetime Firestone alignment, $650 tires, fixed leaky vacuum pump seal, replaced PS pump. Sometime will need clutch & syncros. Paid several tow bills and thousands in parts.

I thought it was in decent shape when I bought it. Live & learn.

I just replaced the original lift pump at 82,000 miles. Replaced the dash at 70,000. Other than that, it just been routine maintenance stuff.

Where did you get the bushings for your clutch/brake petals? are they not too hard to replace?

My front end is still tight. I still have original back brakes.(drums). I tow 75% of the time.
Why did the cam sensor fail? This isn't common from what I know.

Steering shaft, starter, track bar rebuilt, shocks, front brakes, batteries. Replaced almost every bulb except headlights, fuel level sender, lift pump, a/c evaporator, clutch. Been a pretty good truck considering batteries, clutch, brakes, bulbs, tie rods, shocks are all wear items.
Stuff it needs now - tie rods, PS box is leaking

I have 474 000 kms. I bought it with 220 000 kms. I've replaced: hubs, brakes x2, rotors x2, track bar x2, starter, alternater, 5 sets of tires, 1 set of alum. rims, various axle seals and bearings, all u joints and cardon x 2, heater core, ball joints x2, steering column, rear door lower latches all 4 shocks , steering dampner x2, 2 track bars all 4 calipers and all needeing replacing(rattling like crazy- even with new sliders), exhaust, drl module, tons of trailer plugs... There is probably more but cant remember... I bought it for 18 000 and i would guess ive spent that again in maintenance in 4.5 yrs. depressing. But I still like it.
