Weight rating of 2nd Gen alloy rim
Does anyone have a factory specification of the weight rating of the 2nd gen alloy rims? I would assume that it equal to or greater than the rating of the factory tire. Anything?

They are probably pretty strong, however the factory probably wouldn't rate it to carry over the vehicles GVW, even though they often do.
There was a TSB on some of the early ones cracking along the bead, IIRC they offered them from 98.5 on, but that could be wrong.
Try dodgeram.org for specs on a bunch of dodge stuff.

I checked the above website, which has many specs, however no spec is given for the wheel capacity. Perhaps there is a number stamped on the inside of the wheel itself?

There is a bunch of stuff stamped on the inner side, year, part # etc. Could be.
I couldn't locate a WR either on dodgeram.org.
I would suggest not exceeding the tire's load rating per corner if you need to overload past mfg specs.

I'm running the TOYO OPEN COUNTRY MT in a 315/75/16 that is rated for 3780 lbs per tire. I'm under that for gross, (for now) but I'm looking into the added security of the 19.5" Rickson package.

If I am not mistaken you can get pretty high weight ratings on a 19.5 " tire.
Also, take into consideration that the wider the tire, on a stock rim, the less the sidewall will carry. 315's on an 8" wheel "puff" out quite a bit more than a 265-275.

I would not trust the 2nd gen alloy, I had 2 with cracks, tried to find replacements, then learned from a company that repairs damaged alloy rims, that its a well known failing rim...so I ditched the 2nd gens and got 3rd gen rims
salvage yard bought all 4 of my rims, as they were a well sought after item

I think this will be fixed properly at SL1 but most of the time i observe this case that the diameter or circumference didn't match with the alloy rim size. So please make sure before it to fix.
So time i saw this problem that the diameter of screw also harassed. So should it to be checked too..
