vp44 problem

vp44 problem

ok so my truck originally blew a brake line it was during winter so i didn't feel like fixing it in the snow so the truck sat finally fixed the line and the truck would not acellerate past 30 mph check engine light was on found 216 code and map sensor code i knew the pump was on the way out was having dead pedal problems so i bought a pump put the new pump in and truck still has no power didn't clear codes yet don't have scan tool at home will the problem be fixed after i clear codes or is map sensor code the problem

check map also wire connections for corrosion the code wont affect performance if theres no problem

ok the map sensor code is p0237 map sensor voltage low the 216 code went away could this code cause no power and does anyone know how to diag this the spec for the wires and any other info would be helpful

possibly the apps..just changed mine yesterday, i had the dead petal issue a couple weeks ago. it fixed the problem(before the "dead petal" it would start out in 2nd when starting out from a dead stop)

P.S. How you like the juice? and do you have any pics of your rig?

the juice with a attitude is the best investment so far i love it power at the touch of a button and it adds lots of power on high levels truck pulls like crazy on level 5 and turns the 35's pretty well can keep up with some cars raced and beat a mustang in a race highly recomended and i will gets some pics up as soon as possible

Unhook the Edge and see if the code comes back. Seen way to many edge box failures causing problems like yours.

ok ended up being the map sensor followed the diag chart and found map sensor bad replaced sesnor problem gone. Also I can't beleive how bad my old vp was new pump in the truck is so much faster its amazing how much power i was missing out on because of the bad pump.
