Original VP in mine.

My neighbors VP died one month after the low sulfer diesel came out. Thought mine would eat it too, because our trucks are only a year apart.

Mine made it up until now. It has just under 217k on it with the original.

I think I'd be happy with results like that. If only my VP lasted a couple hundred thousand miles. And.....no, I dont think the ULSD was the culprit. For your truck to last that much longer than your neighbors but still consider ULSD as the culprit, you'd have to compare where you both drove, how many miles, heat cycles, etc. to figure out if all factors were the same.

During that time frame we were driving very similar routes to work. He works for me as one of my lead techs. Same office.

USLD only crossed my mind back when his went TU. Right then and there I figured mine wouldn't be long after if it was the USLD. Because I made it so much longer, I am sure it is not a factor in the failure of mine. I believe the electronics is probably what failed in mine.

Will be ordering another new one in the AM. Once I figure out where to buy it.
